I’m thrilled to share… This week my novel will go out to Beta readers! These are early readers in my target market, people I trust to give accurate feedback in a timely way.

Sharing preliminary versions of my work feels like submitting an ultrasound of a baby to a beauty contest. At least this “baby” is quite a ways along, having been through Alpha reading, developmental editing, and at least five iterations of my own close—and sometimes brutal—scrutiny.

Am I nervous? Yes. Am I excited? Yes. Am I that much closer to believing this story will see the light of day? Heck, yes!
